Jen Rickert is the organizational engine behind Rivers & Roads. As Operations Coordinator, she ensures that the firm’s big-picture vision is supported by seamless systems, reliable processes, and the behind-the-scenes execution that keeps projects moving forward. Known for her ability to turn complexity into order, Jen bridges strategy and operations so that the team — and their clients — can focus on achieving bold results.

Her experience includes helping nonprofits transition from paper-based operations to fully digitized systems, standardizing and documenting processes for community associations, and streamlining internal workflows for both small businesses and civic organizations. At Rivers & Roads, she has supported the development of ITCH (Introduction to Careers in Healthcare) by standardizing and digitizing operational resources, while also applying her skills in research, reporting, and resource development to elevate client outcomes.

Before joining Rivers & Roads, Jen served as Volunteer Recruitment Specialist with Appalachia Service Project, Administrator for the Kent County Chamber of Commerce, and Director of Education at Grace Presbyterian Church. In each role, she brought order to complexity, designed sustainable systems, and helped organizations deliver on their missions more effectively.

Jen is motivated by a love for turning vision into tangible results. She has a unique ability to break large projects down into manageable steps, ask clarifying questions that uncover what’s essential, and document systems that ensure long-term sustainability. Her contributions elevate not only Rivers & Roads, but every project the firm undertakes.
